Course Artifacts

Instructional design is the means to fill a learning or performance gap. It follows a process beginning with identifying and analyzing a performance problem, followed by designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing the instructional process (Reiser & Dempsey, 2012). Throughout my M.S. Ed program, I was exposed to various instructional design frameworks and models that increased my ability to design, develop, and deliver instructional solutions. The exposure specifically to the ADDIE model has allowed me to approach all projects with a systematic process to efficiently achieve the result of closing the knowledge gap.

This program was based on the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) standards. Throughout the program, we were expected to demonstrate professional development, analytical and integrative thinking, instructional design, media/technology development, management and implementation, and evaluation. A brief sample of artifacts are provided here to demonstrate my learning through the program.
